If you want a quick (~3 hours) overview over mainstream thinking on the economics of climate change, you really can’t do much better than to watch the lecture Nicholas Stern gave at Yale last year (as reported by the NYT at the time) and the discussion with, amongst other, William Nordhaus and Martin Weitzman that ensued. You can find both at the web site for the Yale Center for the Study of Globalization.
